Carbon/Silicon – the band fronted by Mick Jones of The Clash – are set to release a limited edition live album. Entitled “Carbon Casino“, it will be available via Carbonsiliconinc.com, and is restricted to 2,000 copies. The CD was recorded on February 29 in London and features 11 tracks.

Britain’s indie rock stars Arctic Monkeys are set to reconvene this month to begin writing their third album. The process of creating the songs for the follow-up to 2007’s “Favourite Worst Nightmare” shall take place in the their hometown of Sheffield.

The Verve are offering fans to download an exclusive free song over six weeks before the release of their forthcoming album. The track is called “Mover” and is available to download from vervedownload.com. It will not appear on the reunited band’s new CD, “Forth“, due for release on August 18.
